Delicious and a bargain

Easy to find thanks to previous reviews. The guy was super helpful with what wasn't vegan ( only one thing was veggie) and the choice was nice and big. The price is crazy at € 7 for the smallest plate which is plenty of food. Just a lovely place.

Incredible food!!

I went here for lunchtime and was so happy. I got the cheapest meal which included picking 3 things from their food line of the day + a salad and tea. Please note that this place is cash only and does not have wifi. The meal was really filling, delicious and healthy and the staff was so kind and helpful! This is a great place to sit and read a journal for a while if you can get a window seat. Def try this place out when you are in Lisbon!

(And be sure to get the pakora if they have it, it was my favorite!)

Whenever you arrive you will see a small sign outside and have to climb up stairs to get to the restaurant. Follow the smells of the food!

Pros: Incredible food, Afforable, Friendly staff

Cons: Cash only

Health really is Wealth.

To be able to get macrobiotic vegan food at this price is outrageous.
I opted for the bigger plate and the side salad is free. €8.
A great option if you are on the go, healthy veg that is filling and nutritious. A must in Lisbon.

Pros: Organic, Healthy , Price

Awesome prices and delicious food!

I really like this place - they have great prices, esp for being in the Chiado area. You get to choose 3-5 items and they put it on a plate for you and then you can have shredded cabbage/carrots and alkaline water. I ordered 4 items on my last visit which was 7€ and I was FULL! It's probably the best deal in Lisbon!

Affordable, healthy buffet

Went here twice. Great selection of food and very reasonably priced (€6 for a plate). Also free tea with the meal.

Liked that they always had tofu.

Affordable Vegan Food

The portions are big and the prices very very friendly. You’re not leaving hungry, even if you have only 6€ in your pocket!

I had ‘tempura’, beans, pumpkin purée and seitan salad of my choice.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Friendly prices and big portions , Nice staff

Good and cheap hidden restaurant

7 Euros for a big mixed plates with a choice of 4 options (I had croquetas, brown rice, veggie purée, veggie stew with sweet potatoes, carrots and broccoli - my husband had a delicious seitan stew, cous cous, mixed veggies) salad dessert. All in a quiet, nice restaurant at the 2nd floor of a building, with azulejos and Buddhas on the walls. We enjoyed it!

Pros: Super cheap

Affordable & Tasty

We had lunch at A Comeia ('the hive'). The buffet offers enough choice of tasty dishes, additional free salad and water or apple tea (if I remember right).

It was very tasteful and also very affordable.

What I didn't like though, many customers for take away did not wear face masks - and staff didn't seem to care.

Pros: Tasteful, Affordable, Not many tourists

Cons: No enforcement covid prevention rules (masks)

Vegetarian food buffet at a very good price

Good vegetarian restaurant in the center of Lisbon.

Honestly, it is very poorly indicated on the street, so the entrance is difficult to find. Likewise, when I arrived, no one attended to me and it was I who had to look for the people in charge of the restaurant 😅

The menu offering was large, with multiple options. However, the food offer was not very large, especially in the salads part.

The restaurant in general was not very well decorated and I did notice that the tables and chairs were very plain and quite old.

When I finished eating it struck me that I had to pay for the box to take home the food that I had left over ...

Otherwise, I liked the food but I can say that it was tasty or wonderful, rather it reminded me of a school canteen. I recommend the restaurant as a vegetarian option in the city center 🤗

Pros: The price of the menus / buffet, The drink (tea) that you can always refill

Cons: The location is a bit confusing, Having to pay the checkout to take food home, Food not especially tasty

Great for an affordable lunch

It’s a great place for a good and cheap lunch. The food is simple, yet delicious. And only for 5€ !

It’s also nice that the beverage (herbal tea or water) is included in the price.

Affordable and filling

Grabbed lunch here today and I'll definitely be back. For 5 euro you were able to choose 3 items from the buffet and you were given a little salad and some tea or water. You could also get more items, one euro extra per addition. Most of the buffet was vegan but a couple items did have dairy products so be sure to ask for clarification. The buffet had items like tofu, beans, rice, couscous, seitan, fried vegs, etc. The staff were very friendly too and they kept everything clean and tidy.

Pros: Very affordable, Big portions, Filling

Cheap and tasty

Good food for a low price. Ate a plate for 5€ and barely could walk out-too much food 😄 Stuff is super friendly here, lots of vegan options. Though the place felt more like a canteen, for this price it was just perfect as I think

Wonderful service

We wanted to keep going back just to see the wonderful woman who runs this place. The sweetest. We had a macrobiotic meal, plus seitan. We left full and had a really healthy feeling. Herbal tea, which you help yourself to, comes with the meal. We have tea made with the herb Savoury, and then some green tea.

Pros: Lovely service., Tasty macrobiotic meal plated up for you., Good value, and mostly vegan.

Cons: Difficult to find - it's on a side street, on the , Only open until 4pm, with last orders around 3pm o

An ok option

The lady serving the food was lovely and the food was alright. A combined plate, served with a small salad and tea (I am not sure if they serve alcohol).

Personally though, it was a bit too quiet for me. I didn't especially enjoy the atmosphere nor the food. It was just an ok option to have a cheap and quick lunch in the center.

Ah, and there was no vegan cake this time...sniff.

Pros: Lovely Service, Economic

Cons: Limited choices

nice place with a lot of vegan choice

I just ate a chocolate strawberry cake there. It was cheap (2€), vegan and fluffy. Great taste without lying in your stomach like a stone.
The lady in there was really nice, wouldn´t accept the tip and told me that they don´t use dairy, only cheese with their main dishes.

Pros: no dairy used, cheap, great cake

A great place in Lisbon

When I went to this restaurant, a couple of weeks ago, I found it empty. I must say, inexplicably empty.

The owner, Ema Martini, is incredibly nice and friendly. Apparently, this is the first vegetarian restaurant to ever open in Portugal. The food is great, and it is unbelievably cheap.

The location is also nice.

These are all the reasons why I would like to recommend this place. I hope you will find as pleasent as I did.

Pros: Good food, Friendly owner, Super cheap

veg lunch in Baixa

Quiet, nice, colorfull place at the first floor.

The cook/waitress/manager is a nice lady, who will sincerely welcome you in this quiet refuge just aside the crowded streets of Baixa quarter.

Food is good and price is vey afffordable, so you will overlook minor details.

Pros: price for value, central, really home made food

Cons: limited choice, a bit too much home made style
