Review: Visited Helsinki in Aug 09 and had dinner here one night. They are a Malaysian business and the food is good quality. We had a soup to start which was vegan (all vegan dishes are marked on the menu). For main course we had the szechuan tofu and the chinese mushroom and cabbage dish. We asked for the tofu dish to be 2 chilli's and it was SO hot so maybe only ask for 1 chilli unless you love hot food.
The rice was included and so was tea. I don't think that they serve any alcohol.
Pros: reasonably priced * tasty food * friendly staff - english speaking
Cons: * * |

Review: Sataytofu, currytofu and kungpotofu are my favorite foods in Helsinki, but also other veggie dishes are better than elsewhere. Sometimes dishes are perfect but sometimes not as "creamy" as usually. This is not an ordinary quiet chinese restaurant and not a place to spend more than one hour. It is usually very relaxed, noisy and crowded.
Pros: excellent taste * cheap * central location
Cons: crowded * busy staff * |

Review: Malesian restaurant sells many other dishes than veggie but it's worth checking out. The vegetarian menu is around 10 € and serves you with spring rolls, a veggie dish and a dessert of your choice. The single dishes are 7-10 €. I've never tasted anything here that I didn't like. The atmosphere is a little hectic since this is also a popular take-away but the staff (especially the tempremental little lady) are great.
Easily found since it's just around the corner at shopping center Kamppi which you can't avoid in Helsinki city center.

Cons: * * |
