I was so happy to find a 100% vegan shop in the UK! It's not a big shop and the selection could be somewhat better, but it's a lovely shop all the same.
I stayed in Birmingham just a few days and I visited this shop twice to get some food and snacks. Their sausage rolls and other pastry things were very good. I also got a big box of ice cream there. :p
Definitely worth visiting. It's within walking distance from central Birmingham.
The One Earth Shop has changed hands recently and initially had less in stock than the original owners. But I think that has all leveled out now and the new owners are settling in.
I've always wished that this little treasure had more customers to help support it as I know that they struggle to make ends meet sometimes.
As with a lot of vegan products, the majority of goods in here are a bit pricey, but I find it hard to have a problem with that as I know it is for such a good cause.
But the best part about this shop is that as a vegan, no matter what you need to eat or pamper yourself with, you will find it in here.
Be it a cooling ice-cream on a hot day, or something for a Sunday roast, look no further than One Earth Shop.
Great little shop, 100% vegan, with snacks and everything else you'd expect in a health shop.
Sometimes don't have stock but they have stuff you can't get anywhere else and will order things in for you.

Pros: 100% Vegan, Friendly, 100% Vegan!I really loved this lovely, little shop selling only vegan stuff. There I could also find some products that are not so easy to find here in Italy, such as vegan white chocolate and hempseed. I even saw they sell vegan suet, incredible! Nice place to visit after a lunch at nearby's Warehouse Cafe.
Pros: sells only vegan stuff, good choiceExcellent place just underneath the Warehouse Cafe (and next to a bike shop!), selling all sorts of vegan foodstuffs that are difficult to get elsewhere in Birmingham, and also a few non-food bits and pieces (Ecover washing liquid, Kingfisher toothpaste, etc.). Changed ownership recently, and last time I went in it looked a little understocked compared to usual, but it was just after the Christmas period, so I think we can give them the benefit of the doubt. Highly recommended.
A fully vegan store selling a good range of products, groceries, snacks and cakes. Ideal for stocking the hotel room up, presents and getting in essential supplies for the home.
I love the One Earth Shop, the owners are really friendly, they have great stock & it's really handy for the city centre too. Everything is vegan - including the fresh counter where you can buy a snack/lunch to keep you going. The owners are happy to order items in for you too. Fab!
Pros: Great selection, Location, Friendly staffThe One Earth Shop will order especially from their catalogues, and will even deliver for free in parts of South Birmingham. Definitely worth a visit - only 5 mins walk from Birmingham Moor St Station (and located almost underneath the Moor St southbound platform south end!), only 10 mins from Birmingham New St Station. From Moor St main exit, turn left down the hill (Moor St Queensway) past Selfridges (the blue and silver 'bug'), left under the viaduct bridge, right as you come out of the bridge (down Shaw's Passage), left on to Allison St and they are the second door along (54 - 57 is all The Warehouse).

I haven't been for a year or so but I remember how great this shop was. I'd reiterate everything in the first review, and add that it sells individual ice creams, so on a hot summer's day you can have a cornetto like everyone else :)
