Review: It's currently right next to the Honda shop, so it may have moved. Just went today and had a nice lunch, though in my opinion it's got nothing on Nirvana a few blocks away. Just for example, "chili" here consisted of a bowl of dried flakes, there they have at least half a dozen homemade blends. Still recommended, saw lots of foreigners and when I got there at 1 most things in the buffet were nearly gone.

Pros: cheap * variety *
Cons: slightly bland * *

Review: A great lunchtime buffet with mock meats, lots of herbs very delicious. the food is very rustic traditional Laotian fare. Went two years ago and they still had a nighttime al carte menu. Unfortunately they don't do that anymore just the buffet which is a shame because they had some lovely stuff. Still it's very good value at 20,000 kip $2.20 for all you can eat.

Pros: very cheap * good mock-meats * Tons of herbs
Cons: Out of town a bit * Lunchtime only * Buffet only, no a la carte option

Review: We walked the length of Thadua Road, found the Honda shop but not the restaurant. Nobody seems to know anything about it so I am very confused??

Review: This place is just lovely: A big buffet with many dishes, including amazing salads (with interesting bitter greens), hot foods like really good thick rice noodles, etc, etc, seeds, nuts, and so on. The food changes: I ate here twice and had sweet pumpkin soup for dessert one time and sweet corn another. I more than liked everything I tried and had some foods I'd never had before (and i'm well-travelled). A real eye-opener and tastebud-stimulator! Friendly, young staff. Very inexpensive. Highly recommended. Don't miss this place if you're in Vientiane!

Pros: non-smoking * friendly staff * great range of food
Cons: * *
