I love this place and I visit it each time I come to Helsinki. It's quite small, but has a lot to offer, from different kinds of food to clothes and cosmetics.

I would love to see Ruohonjuuri as a store with locally produced and environmental friendly products that cannot be found in conventional foodstores. I haven't been happy to see how alternative medicine and all kinds of crystals and magnets keep invading more and more space in Ruohonjuuri during the years.
Pros: locally produced juices, organic vegetables, organic breadHere you can buy anything vegan/vegetarian: shoes, food, snacks, toothpastes, detergents etc. And also hear about pro-animal and environmental work in Finland. It's a little expensive though. Easily found: it's opposite (north-side) the Kamppi shopping centre.
