A dependable shop with lots to offer. Pricy, but well-stocked:)
Pros: Location, Friendly staff, Lots in stocki manage a health food shop and i search them out all over on my travels. this place was very disappointing, the shelves were more than half empty, never a good sign for me. they had sojade soy yoghurt which we sell in amsterdam for 2,30 euros, it was 5 euros here, i could not beleive it. i did buy a few staples , soy milk and some nuts and snacks but found it so expensive, your much better off eating in restaraunts in budapest in my opinion, i had an apartment and thought i would cook, but the price was a huge deterent wand i could eat a huge meal at eden for 2 or 3 euros, then when you compare a 500ml soy yoghurt for twice the price of a meal....
Pros: helpful staff, some vegan options, produceIn order to get to this shop, take the red metro line to Moszkva Ter. The shop is in the Mammut (Mammoth) shopping mall on the second floor towards the back. The shop closes at 8PM, though the mall closes at 9PM. You will be able to find a produce section towards the back, which also can provide freshly squeezed juices. The woman who was working when I was there spoke English. Then, the other side of the store has some healthy selections. However, try to have a list of items you'd like in Hungarian, or go with a bilingual person, as all ingredients are in Hungarian. I was able to purchase almond milk and a nice granola mix here.
They also sell rice and soy milks. Some foods are imported from France, Germany, and Italy, so if you have a knowledge of any of the languages spoken in these countries, it will also help you in searching for foods.
BioRitmus doesn't carry items such as sprouted breads or nut butters. They do carry various brands of honey and chocolates. Also, make sure to come with your own bag or be ready to spend a few cents for a bag. They take credit cards and cash.
Pros: nut milks, location, varietyAlthough I personally would liek afew more Vegan options, it's really nice and well put together. There is a big area for groceries in general, just opposite that secton there is a little coffe place, with Fresh vegan cakes on Thursdays as far as I know- Near that there is a place for toiletry, with tons of vegan products. I love the toothpaste from there and the body wash.
There is also an area for vegetables, now these are organic, but they are really expenive.
Over all I'm very happy to have this place near my home.
Pros: Big, Wide range of goods, Vegan friendly
