Really good veg discovery
Posted on 09 / 22 / 2010This is a really good offer for the money you pay and one of those rare veg places in Venezuela which actually serves good food, not arepas. Some food you can choose, some is served with no options, Bolivarian style;). For 28 Bolivars Fuertes each we got a soup, bread, a huge plate with 2 servings of a bean stew and a banana-casserole-like thingie and garnish/salad of choice + a fruit drink and a dessert, and then a cup of a herbal tea. The food was way more sophisticated than what you'd expect of an eatery in Venezuela. It is slightly inspired by Indian cuisine, yet only inspired. Very vegan-friendly, always had a vegan option. On the message board you find a lot of yoga and heath food ads. The public was a mish mash of office plancton, hippies and who not. Try getting a table on the balcony on the 2nd floor.
Pros: great food, price, balconyCons: no small tables for 2, pretty crowded
