Review: i visited my son in Guam,\last week .went to buy grocery in Payless supermarket. bought jimmy dean brekfast sausage. didn't pay attention to the exp date because i didn,t expect that a supermarket will be selling outdated food.the following morning, opened the sausage and started cookingfor breakfast happened to look at the label and written...use or freeze by nov. 22, 2007.went back to the store the following day.Went to talk to the manager but he was off. Talked to to supervisor and for the meantime I asked my daughter to look again in the freezer section where she got the sausage to see if there are other outdated stock of food. She picked out another one and the jimmy dean sausage expiration was sept. 28 2007. HOW CAN THEy allow this store to sell outdated foods. also i noticed a lot of frozen foods have freezer burns. items are also very expensive. dept of health and licensing should be checking this store. one thing though, the employees are very nice and polite
Pros: friendlystaff * polite staff *
Cons: expensive * not good quality of food * selling outdated goods |

• I don't doubt your experience...but why are you posting on a vegetarian board a complaint about buying sausage?. response by Jimbomatic
