Review: Those are just three of the words that I would use to describe Pepperton's. The owner's are two thoroughly pleasant, charming and creative individuals. The art displayed in the gallery is wonderfully eclectic, the current exhibition featuring mediums as diverse as glass, bitumen, thread, linograph print and print onto aluminium.
So that is the art covered, onto the meal. I eat there quite regularly about once ever 2 weeks. The menu has just been expanded and I have yet to find a bad dish, they are all good. And yes the Chocolate Fudge Cake (VEGAN!) is to die for. The Menu is affordable starter around £3.00, main around £7, Dessert around £3.50. The drinks are reasonable too with a selection of herbal teas. A three-course meal for two with drinks (non-alcoholic) generally gives change from £30.00. The restaurant is licenced and sells alcohol.
I can not complete this review without mentioning how friendly the owners and the general atmosphere is, Pepperton's is a wonderful place to enjoy an evening, looking at art and eating. At no point do you feel pressured into leaving or finishing quickly.
Pros: Vegan * Very Friendly * Excellent food
Cons: * * |

Review: We try to support this Selhurst eaterie as vegan friendly cafes are thin on the ground in South London!
With amazingly friendly owners and a good selection of vegan choices, Peppertons really is delightful.
Their vegan chocolate cake is fab and they bend over backwards to help ensure your enjoy your meal here. This is also an art gallery and they have an ever changing array of great pieces to buy. We have had many a good meal here and heartily recommend it.
Pros: vegan chocolate cake * friendly, caring owners * vegan friendly

Review: Really good food, most of which is vegan or it seems can be made as vegan. The chocolate fudge cake (hot chocolate fudge!) is especially good. The owners are really warm, friendly people and the restaurant is also an art gallery.
Pros: excellent food * good value * lovely staff
Cons: could be easier to get to * * |
