It's a very casual restaurant that seems to be mom & pop owned with an old man serving as the waiter (You should find him planted in front of the restaurant just 1 store away from the Visitor Center) and an old lady doing the cooking in the back. Most dishes (rice and noodles) seem to range from 100-200 NWD (around $3-6 USD)with multiple people orders at a higher price. The menu was completely in chinese and you could just write down your order if you're like me speaks Cantonese and not Mandarin. I think if you don't speak Chinese at all and feeling a bit adventurous, you should still be ok. There seems to be no drinks available so I don't know if it's alright to BYO or you'll just have until you finished to get something from the various vendors a few shops away. I thought my noodle was slightly bland but the portion was quite large and filled with various veggies. There's also no air condition but then lots of restaurants don't seem to have them either.
