Better food prices than the Coop or Whole Foods
Posted on 04 / 19 / 2010Vitamin Cottage Natural Grocer has above the norm ethics and believes in passing on savings to their customers. Check out the "what we won't sell" list - no hydrogenated oils, no irradiated food, no inorganic food, no rgBH, no artificial colors, aspartame etc. in ANY of the food they sell. If that's not enough - their prices beat the socks off of both the local Coops and Whole Foods. These are the prices you could expect from a coop back in the days when coops passed savings along to the shoppers. I would say on the average the prices are 25-30% lower for many items. There's also a huge selection of vitamin and mineral supplements and a body care department.
