	Review: This restaurant is at the extreme end of the street near Rua 1 de Marco and not the west side in the market area west of Av. Rio Branco. The self-service food here has more imagination and better taste than any of the other restaurants I visited in Rio. Good variety and it declares itself a vegetarian restaurant at its entry and where the meat dishes, fish and chicken, are just two or three of the whole - always ask which they are. 	Review: As you approach the buffet, one side is vegetarian, the other side has chicken and fish - be careful with the items down the middle as some are vegetarian and some are not. The owner is very helpful, speaks excellent English, and took great interest in whether I'd enjoyed the food. And I did - it's pretty good, the soya "burgers" are exceptional, there are various soya chunk stews, and the fatty beans are vegetarian with no lard or animal products. Worth the trip to sample the bustling non-tourist city centre neighbourhood!   Pros: Clean and busy * Decent value * Authentic locals haunt Cons: Not entirely vegetarian * Labelling not in English * Closed weekends
