Not Very Good, Though Some People Seem to Love It

I don't get the appeal Annapurna seems to have for many Burquenos. As Slyer says in another review, this is not real Indian food. It is also not properly prepared Ayurvedic food, and there is far better vegetarian food out there.
I guess part of it is that, aside from the relatively new Thai Vegan, Annapurna is the only all-veg, sit-down restaurant in Albuquerque with a nice enough atmosphere that you could, say, take your grandma there. But there is other, better vegetarian food in town. Although they are not pure veg, Slate Street Cafe, Farina Pizzeria, Standard Diner, the Range, Farm and Table, La Crepe Michel, Pars Cuisine, Huong Thao, India Kitchen, Indigo Crow (Corrales) and the aforementioned Thai Vegan offer some good to great veg and/or vegan dishes. And the vegan desserts at La Montanita Co-op are waaaay better and considerably cheaper than Annapurna's.
If you are only willing to eat food from a pure veg kitchen, then I guess Annapurna is your best bet here, but if you're willing to eat from an omni-kitchen and to explore a little bit, there are many better options.
Pros: Nice space
Cons: Bad, bland, overpriced food, Incompetent staff, Not really ayurvedic
