Exactly what you want

Great location just off Jaune I Metro in a really nice part of town just round the corner from Cat Bar which is how we found it by chance. As has already been documented this place sells typical vegan and vegetarian produce as well as toiletries and cleaning products. The range of faux meats is superb perfect for making sandwiches back at the hotel with which is exactly what we do. Many locations on Barcelona, seek them out and visit.

Cons: sells meat

Health Food Store

3 Posted on 10 / 03 / 2009

Sells peanut butter, which thrilled my husband who eats it every day.
Large selection of toiletries, so great if you need vegan shampoo, toothpaste, want organic loo roll and so on.
Huge selection of seitan products, also tofu and some tasty vegan empanadas and nice vegan margerine.
Not cheap, but show me a organic supermarket that is.

Pros: well laid out
Cons: bit pricey

Organic supermarket

This supermarket is relatively small and I found that it did not have a wide variety of health food products. However, one can find alternative milks such as rice, oat, and soy. I did not see any almond milks. The fruit is very expensive, and you would be better off buying fruit and veggies at the many local markets around Barcelona.

Pros: location, alternative milks
Cons: small variety, cost

I had a look in this place. They sell a lot of non vegetarian stuff.

There are loads of miles places that are miles better for veggies in Barca

Cons: Lots of non veggie stuff sold

No taste

2 Posted on 07 / 17 / 2007

The ravioli bolet was absolutely tasteless. And 1 Euro for a small piece of bread. I was so disappointed - this was a wasted eating opportunity in a city with so many nice places for veggie food.

Pros: very pleasant staff, light, airy room
Cons: comparatively expensive, can get better value
