	Review: Actually, this owner guy is a joke. I once had to choose two first courses, since no single second course was even remotely vegan, buy hey, that's life and is not unusual in Spanish veggie restaurants, unfortunately. When I received a pasta dish that tasted cheesy to me, they sent the plate back to the kitchen, only to give me a \"new\", equally cheesy dish. I said no way, I'm out of here. When I asked him what the pasta filling was he just improvised \"vegetarian pate\". I mean, you should have seen his face.. I stopped going to this place because I just don't appreciate being fooled, particularly after having eaten there some 20 times prior. Sorry I'm bitter, but to hell with this restaurant.   Pros: They were good in the past * * Cons: They deceive * Pretty much zero vegan desserts *

	Review: Hola , soy el chef y propietario del restaurante armonia . de lunes a sábado - from mondays to saturdays- sunday is closed . Elaboramos ensaladas variadas , cramas , arroz integral biologico , hojaldres , berenjenas rellenas al horno , con productos biológicos y amplia opción para veganos y vegetarianos . "Not if you're vegan"   My Rating

	Review: My girlfriend and I made the train ride from Bilbao to Algorta because of the reviews here seemed good - quality food, inexpensive and it mentions vegan options on the restaurant overview - however, what we found instead were incredibly limited vegan options for a very inflated price. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and the lunch menu on that day, despite being listed as 9 euros by another reviewer here, was 16 euros. They had one option per course that could be made vegan but the main course would have been a veggie burger and they didn't seem all too sure that the bread was vegan. The waitress actually seemed quite shocked that we were vegans. If you're vegan, don't bother with this place unless absolutely necessary. On the pros, the waitress was very friendly and tried to be as accomodating as she could be - she just seemed really unfamiliar with the situation and the town of Algorta is charming and worth a visit by itself.   Pros: friendly staff * lovely town * Cons: lacks vegan options * expensive *

The waitress had no idea how to help us and kept going back to the kitchen to ask somebody who sent her back out just as unsure as she went in. It was also 16 euros. What do you think? I lied for no apparent reason? We didn't eat there. Like I said, they weren't sure if the bread in the veggie burger was vegan so the main course may not have been vegan. Between that and the 16 euro price tag, it was a no brainer. Now, do I allow for the possibility that there are other people who have worked there before and since who are more familiar with the vegan diet? Absolutely. However, I can only speak from experience and my experience was that there were very few vegan options and that the waitress was pretty unfamiliar with veganism. As to your comment that of course the vegan o.... response by TexasVegan • I do not agree at all with this review. To start I should mark that MENU DEL DIA is the cheap option for lunch in Spain from MONDAY to FRIDAY, as in ALL restaurants in Spain. The review that you read was probably referring to this type of menu. So, of course you paid more for your food, on weekend all the restaurants in Spain inflate their prices, but the food usually is more selected. The menu del dia at the moment from monday to friday costs around 10 euros. Me and my girlfriend we have found always vegan options, and if did not have it they can fix it. The restaurant is not a vegan restaurant, so of course you found limited options in the menu!. Not all the dishes are vegan, but as I said, there is always options. You can even choose to entrants instead of a entrant and a main. We have eaten here around 10-12 times and neve.... response by Trumoi - report abuse -
