In the southern part of town not around much that is touristy. Great food, but kind of expensive and small portions.

A Table for Many Tastes

While on week-long vacation in Warsaw I was hesitant to try Biosfeera, based upon a couple of lukewarm reviews. There are many Middle Eastern, kosher, and Asian restaurants in Warsaw that offer vegan options, as well as a handful of vegetarian and vegan restaurants that are satisfying (two meals at Marrakech especially stand out). However, on our last day here we ventured to Biosfeera and stuffed ourselves. The quality of the food, imagination of creation and presentation, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding (I am actually writing this review while still here, using their free wi-fi). We stayed away from the common -- pastas and Mexican options. Over the course of two hours we managed to put away the following (generous portions, but we are over eaters): Cream Revelation soup (lentil-coconut), China Town (battered and fried tofu with veggies over soy noodles), a half order of Made in Poland (delightful and unique), 7th Heaven (dumplings stuffed with red lentils and veggies glazed with minced onion... my favorite), Tree Dragons (crispy fried spring rolls stuffed with veggies and served with a side of spicy white cabbage salad). We enjoyed non-alcoholic Merlot with our meal and ended it with two monster slices of Apple Sorcery, Biosfeera's take on apple pie. This is definitely moderate to expensive, especially by Polish standards, but it is also dining with a conscience, a sense that is conveyed in the atmosphere, menu, and even the option to add a donation to Viva! Action for Animals! Foundation. A special place and dining experience.

disappointing

July 31, 2012. Came in with high expectations after having looked at their website. Place looks nice, a bit trendy but welcoming. Pleasant terrace for outside dining. Food however was disappointing, fantasy-wise, quality-wise and price-wise. We had the Kraina Avocado: a salad consisting of pieces of iceberg salad, with 4 micro-thin slices of avocado, a few grapes, some blue cheese and walnuts. 32 zloty for that is over the top.
The Land of Poland and the Quesadilla were promoted by the waitress as "the best there is tonight". Unfortunately all I can say is that the "Land of Poland" was OK though served without any creativity, but the quesadilla was not different from what you get at any mediocre Mexican restaurant. Really wanting to give it another fair chance, we ordered the Sweet Sphere for desert. The promised wholemeal "crumble" were mere chunks and almost indigestible. When we let the waitress know that we were not satisfied, all she could answer was: "this is a vegetarian restaurant....."
To conclude: one of the most disappointing vegetarian experiences we had in years.

intimate and 'chic'

Nice and easily reachable location, just near the park and close to the metro station. The dishes are great, good portions and very tasty. Often very creative too.
The price however is a bit more expensive than the rest of the veg options in Warsaw, but then again this is one of the only veg places in the city which can be called a real restaurant.

Pros: great food, good location
Cons: slightly expensive

moderate price?

Although I didn't eat there (the prices chased me away) I would describe it as expensive rather moderate. A soup costs what an entire meal costs in a normal veg restaurant. A nice place for special occasions perhaps but not for everyday eating unless you like to spend a lot of cash.

A Global, Veggie Touch on Polish Cuisine

An excellent restaurant that serves many Polish specialities in healthier, vegetarian (and often tastier!) versions. These include a vegan version of nalesniki (crepes), pierogi with lentils, sunflower seed croquettes, and barszcz (beet soup). Most non-vegan options can be made such upon request.

The restaurant also features world cuisine. The pasta dishes are delicious, as are the asian-influenced stir fries. There is a mexican platter and a few middle eastern dishes as well.

The soups are fantastic, served in very large bowls. A favorite is the hearty, coconut-based lentil soup.

The extensive menu also features a delectable dessert selection and fresh organic juices.

The restaurant is nicely situated within a park, and in the summer large doors are opened to bring the outdoors in. The interior decor is lively and appealing, and there is a generally relaxed atmosphere.

Top choice in Warsaw!

Stylish but lacking

Located just off one of southern routes out of the city centre 3 stops on the Blue line metro from Centrum in the direction of Kabaty getting off at Raklawicka. This is a very plush and impressive restaurant decked out with expensive looking fixtures and fittings. The main focus is on pasta dishes featuring many different shapes, sauces and colours. Other dishes are also available but I can't remember what they were. For such an impressive place they don't have an alcohol licence which isn't muchg good if you want a special dining experience. They do serve great soya somoothies and fruit lassis. I would definitely go again during the daytime and for one of the fabulous pasta dishes.

Lots of vegan options. Try the "Made in Poland."
