Review: Come here for lunch before and they have great food. Can be tough going if you have limited time for lunch (eg. working at Prospect like I do!) but the numbers of folk inside show that they're doing something right!

Pros: Great food * Location * Good Value
Cons: Opening hours * Usually super busy *

Review: My husband and I went to vego and loven it last week (I for the first time) and oh my, we ordered the lentil burgers and the food that came out was just incredible! There was a HUGE stack of salad that came freshly prepared in the burger. And deliciously tasty. Certainly great value for money, and healthy too.

This cafe may not be to everyone's taste aesthetically. It is certainly very funky with mosaics and great menu writing on the chalkboards, an assortment of chairs of varying design and comfort, probably donated from hard rubbish...
however, this is very cool and boho/retro if you like it...
BUT. If you're more the type to want a well-lit cafe with matching chairs and tables and lots of room to move around other diners, you may not like this place so much.

One thing is for sure, the food is so good and such great value that it doesn't matter whether you like the decor or not.

The other thing... its only open from 10amish to 3:30ish.
And one last thing: Its easy to miss. You have to look up for the mosaic sign as you walk down rundle street or you'll just walk past the doorway.

Pros: value for money * excellent food * funky decor
Cons: a bit small * opening hours * easy to miss

Review: I wholeheartedly believe vegos is the best burger place on the planet. Delicious soy smoothies too, and the soups are great on a cold winter day. The prices have gone up a few times since I started going there years ago, but for $9 a burger you won't find a more satisfying meal (in both taste and quantity) anywhere.

Pros: outstanding food * reasonably priced * friendly staff
Cons: small space * *

Review: awesome food and atmosphere...whoever thinks this place is messy is a bit to uptight.....i think the place is very clean- if anything its the decor and clutter that makes it look messy- and you have to keep in mind that theres one chef (who is also the owner and operator) and thats it.....awesome burgers, awesome salads and the best soup ever (which comes with the best garlic toast known to man) only problem is everytime i go there its full and i cant get a table.......oh also, try the fruit whip drink!

Pros: food * kitch decor *
Cons: not enough tables * *
