Review: The food was pretty good and the prices are low. Though I have had better Indian food at this price range in NYC, I still recommend this for Indian food lovers in Jersey City. This place was flooded with Indians, I was the only white guy there.

My biggest complaint is that our server didn't understand English well enough to tell us which items were vegan, but he did redirect us to someone who knew.

Pros: good food * low prices *
Cons: english speaking service * *

Review: Similar sort fo set up to the other vegetarian eating places clutched together in Little India on Newark Ave. This place is very inexpensive and the surroundings reflect this. Took some doing trying to explain what vegan food is. Correspondingly the bread that I ordered initially came brushed with butter so that didn't exactly inspire confidence. Probably a good place to go for lacto vegetarians with an eye on budget. Only a few mins walk from the train station at Journal Square.

Pros: Very inexpensive * *
Cons: Vegan understanding poor * Synthetic eating utensils *
