Review: english speaking waitress. large menu (in english, french, and spanish) that has a lot of cheese and eggs, but is easy to find or alter to make vegan. the waitress was also helpful in letting us know that the tortillas have eggs (like omelettes she said) in them. we had soy meat with mushroom empanada, mixed vegetable empanada, the country pizza (without cheese). the items with soy meat have a lot of soy meat in or on them. they were all very good. i liked the bread of each of those, especially. they have fruit drinks (good sized), with soy milk options.
i very much enjoyed the food and service here. bread served with meal. our meal for 2 people was 5750 pesos. would visit again.
Pros: vegan options * english speaking * helpful staff
Cons: uncomfortable chairs * * |

Review: After reading the online menu, I was stoked to go to Bambu with my girlfriend. the food was so-so, kinda like being a vegetarian in the 70´s in the U.S. As a vegan, they didn´t have many offerings but if you were vegetarian, you might be satisfied.
Pros: they have tofu! * and soymilk! *
Cons: * * |

• I loved this place. Great Food and good environment. They have a new location too. Considering that vegetarianism in Chile was almost ZERO per cent when Bamboo started, (and still nowadays) one should congratulate them for being constant after 25 years.
Pplin CHile doesn't know about vegetarian food. They teach and promote vegetarianism. Go on Bambu!!. response by camila
