Once-day-a-week market for the local Burmese, Chinese, and Muslim community. Lots of inexpensive vegan food and snacks like veg samosa, fried rice, pakora, chapati, corn cake, semolina cake (contains honey), Burmese tofu fritter, Burmese black sticky rice donut with jaggery syrup. Also vendors selling fresh fruit and vegetable, juices, Burmese pickles, fresh tofu, and tofu packed in chilli and oil, and others. Location is behind the mosque, follow the sign. more-less

Really nice place to meet burmese culture

Some rare for Thailand fruits (imported from China). Lots of burmese foods and some chinese.

Pros: Lots of food, Rare fruits
Cons: Prices are steep, Lively stock

Great Vegan Food

They have a couple of stalls that sell the Burmese Tofu Nuay over rice noodles (SEE PIC). Lots of various veg snack vendors and fresh fruits and veggies. Great Market for Burmese food. FRIDAY MORNINGS ONLY. Get there earlier as they are shut/sold out by noon.

Pros: Delicious , Local , Inexpensive
Cons: Some sell dead flesh, Some selll live chickens
