	Review: The food is incredible! After stumbling upon the beautiful little Vietnamese restaurant I was surprised by the beautiful eloquence, the delicious tastes and the cheap check. (because we all love that). I highly suggest anyone to stop by and try some of the food! 	Review: Was just here in April 2010. Had previously dined here a couple times on a previous trip to Maui, and I'm now updating my review on happycow.net. Fresh Mint is a long time operating restaurant on Maui in the town center of Paia. There's been a change of ownership since my last trip here a couple years ago. The new owners are a Vietnamese wife and husband couple. The wife cooks while the husband buses the tables. I think the wife may have worked here previously and decided to takeover the restaurant. The menu has changed just slightly to include several more selections, but the décor, recipes, and flavors seemed to remain very similar. My husband was hesitant about coming here because he had had a less than average experience dining here in Feb 2010, but I wanted to give it a try for myself. So we came with 2 friends and ordered some food to share for dinner. We got the pho noodle soup (very nice flavor, 6.95), spicy lemongrass noodle soup (good flavor but noodles tough, 6.95), spicy curry eggplant entrée served with a small side of rice (tasty, 9.95), special of day kung bao soy chicken served with a small side of rice (salty and saucy, 12.95), and the pad thai noodles (tasty, 7.95). Overall, I thought all the dishes were tasty, each with a distinct and authentic Asian flavor - all except for the kung bao soy chicken which was too salty. While the portions for the 2 soups were decent, the portions for all the other dishes very small. I left feeling slightly hungry. The set up inside is pretty basic and the service is good, but it got very smoky inside once the cook started making food. Nonetheless, I would recommend a must visit to Fresh Mint when in Maui. It's tasty stuff, just order more food than you would normally eat, and you will be fine.   Pros: authentic flavors * nice selections * convenient location Cons: poor ventilation * small portions *

	Review: This is the best vegetarian/vegan restaurant I have ever visited! They have many wonderful dishes and they are prepared with fresh ingredients to make the flavors memorable. There are many different choices of appetizers and main dishes that are reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and helpful each time I have dined at the restaurant. I count the days until my next vacation to Maui when I can visit Fresh Mint again. Please support this restaurant while in Maui.   Pros: * * Cons: * *

	Review: This is one of my favorite restaurants IN THE WHOLE WORLD. My friend and I went here 3 nights in a row. Everything was so fresh and flavorful and just..perfect. 	Review: Imagine being surrounded by the natural beauty that is Maui, and finding not only a vegetarian restaurant, a vegan restaurant, and not only a vegan restaurant, a totally delicious Vietnamese abundant feast! You have arrived at heaven when you enter the sweet space of "Fresh Mint". The menu offers a wide array of delectable treats. The portions are generous, the veggies fresh, the sauces delicious, and the meat-like creations totally perfect. We ordered fish in a clay pot, and steak with veggies and they were both totally delicious. The service was gracious and excellent, and the setting relaxing, lovely, and clean. We are looking forward to going back next time we are on Maui - we want to try everything on the menu. I hope after reading this review, you will want to go to "Fresh Mint" too!
