WE went for the first time to this market today! It is a must for any healthy-minded person and for anyone wanting to eat better! It has everything organic. There are many unusual fruits and vegetables. WE FOUND LOTS OF KALE!! You have to make this a regular Saturday visit!!!
Pros: organic, lots of prepared foods, very friendlySpent the morning at this market with my daughter. There is a large selection of divine produce and found some items I had been looking for and couldn't find in other places (tomate de arbol, edible flowers). The vendors were all very friendly and in general the atmosphere was a happy one. A good place to plan on having a bite to eat as well...many yummy stalls from Bolivian peanut soup and falafel sandwiches to fresh coconuts and excellent coffee and all sorts of artesan breads, pastries, etc. I am so thrilled to know about this place and will be back!
My only tip is that the map shown on Happy Cow does not indicate the correct location of this market. The actual address is spot on but if you are a foreigner and need to look at a map to figure out where you are going the Polideportivo Aranjuez is on googlemaps and the market is right there. Also there is parking available.
