Beats "Basic Four Vegetarian"
Posted on 07 / 29 / 2012Tried a vegetarian Philly cheesesteak. It was good. The man made half of the hoagie with soy yellow cheese and the other with soy white. I don't know if there was actually a difference in the taste between the two or if it was because the man making the sandwich was lazy and didn't heat it right. The yellow was very creamy, I didn't like it. I guess he also was too lazy to actually fry the onions. So the 'heated' onions weren't good. Overall this sandwich is better than "Basic Four Vegetarian" (Reading Terminal Market). The imatation meat was cooked more and the vegganaise, lettuce, tomato, and soy white cheese on a hoagie roll reminded me of a past love. Would certainly go here again when in Philadelphia.
Pros: Tasty, Good valueCons: Won't bother to imitate real sandwich, Could be better
