Review: i drive out of my way weekly to get a little CB in me. i crave it. the reuben is amazing (i get mine vegan with soy cheddar cheese). a good breakfast is the one thing i miss being vegan and this place caters to that with the tofu scramble. thank you! some of the other reviews mentioned poor service. i have NEVER had poor service, not once, in my time going there. im a server, i would know. CB is an incredible place i take all visiting friends and family to (vegan or not) that come to see me. i leave happy and usually with some leftovers. try this place, they're well worth it!!

Review: Hello,
Before EVERY travel I go to happycow.net and check places to eat/shop
And I have read all the "slow service" "food was ok" blah blah blah.
Well I may just got lucky but I am chef myself and I loved that food. Service was great as a matter of fact they had way too many servers I think but maybe the place gets busier later on.
I had the pancakes, OVEN roasted potatoes (not the fried stuff) and sausage patties (I am not big fan of "fake meats"
but these were pretty good.
I will always go back when I am in the area.

Review: I visited Consciousness Blossoms and was disappointed to find them unwelcoming - a second time. The first time I visited, the staff was okay. Not friendly at all. That was a year ago. I visited a few days ago, and when I walked in, no one offered any assistance, everyone - staff and other diners - looked at me as though I was lost and from another planet. I'm not likely to ever go back.
Even though they serve veg/vegan fare (I am vegan), I'm big on ambience and how staff treats its customers. I'm not one to make complaints or pass negative judgments, but this time I feel compelled to do so.
And I left Consciousness Blossoms and went to another vegan restaurant that's inclusive and welcoming.

Review: I'm glad I didn't read the reviews before going to Consciousness Blossoms or I might've missed a wonderful restaurant. Food was outstanding-buckwheat waffles with fresh strawberries and real maple syrup, and one of the best veggie omelets with whole grain toast I've ever had. Service was attentive and friendly. No complaints!
Pros: Excellent food * Friendly staff * Peaceful atmosphere
Cons: None * * |

Review: For being the ONLY veggie restaurant located in this direct area, I guess I would eat here semi-regularly. Yet, at least the food I ate (along with to go items) Banana Walnut Vegan Pancakes, BBQ Tempeh Sandwich, Hummas, the soup of the day. I would rank the food a 3 out of 10.
The service was pretty poor even though the waitresses stood around.
The menu was large, but all the food just seemed 'ok'.
I am a vegan foodie.... I like TASTE. I like Thai coconut 1000 times better than Hawaiian coconut. This place just seemed to lack TASTE.
I am sure there are a few gems on the menu. Though there is nothing wrong with Consciousness blossoms, except for it being 100% vegetarian, there is nothing Great about it.
Pros: Its vegetarian * *
Cons: Taste * Service * |
