A local vegan cafe's chef has taught this restaurant's chefs how to cook vegan. Located in an old queenslander on acres of gardens, they use organic produce where possible and have their own huge market garden where a lot of the ingredients come from. Price: Expensive more-less

Just went to Mavis' Kitchen for lunch (again) and had the most scrumptious lunch and dessert. The owners are very happy to cater to vegans and the chefs always delight us with their creations - we've never been disappointed. We've also never been treated like we were a 'hassle' for requesting vegan fare. Lovely setting, happy staff and excellent quality food will have us coming back for more!
PS. Dogs with responsible owners are also welcomed but make sure you book so you can get a garden table.

Pros: High quality food, Super fresh food
Cons: None - it is outstanding!
