i have spoken to several 'managers' several times to have little rhody eggs removed. they are unethical. google it. i have never heard back from them once.
they do have wonderful people working there (lori ann). knowledgeable, and the haddock chowder fridays i NEVER miss.
Pros: knowledgeable staff, delish soupsWhen we're in Newport and don't want to drop a lot of cash at a restaurant (especially since there aren't many vegan options in town), we'll often stop by this place to pick up some ready-made sandwiches in the refrigerator case. I've had the tofu salad (like a mock chicken salad) a few times, and it's always been good. I think that they usually stock Fakin' Bacon BLTs, various veggie burgers, and hummus/veggie sandwiches, too. They have a nice selection of natural sodas, juices, and snacks, also.
Pros: convenient location, nice sandwiches, cheap for Newport
