We stopped by at "Harvest Moon" during our summer's holiday in Ireland this June. The friendly, familiar and cosy atmosphere made us feel welcome at a glance. We absolutely loved the light, healthy and extremely yummy lunch-meals at reasonable prizes. For example the spinach-tart with 3 salads, the hummus and falafels. Beware: The beetroot-courgette-broccoli-salad is addictive! That's why we came back a second time, when we passed through Westport again. And if you get inspired to cook on your own, you'll find all you need in the store. Questions will be answered from the very friendly staff.

Harvest Moon is right in the centre of Westport and run by 2 gorgeous friendly women who obviously love good food and know that the vegetarian optiion need be anything but boring. The cafe has a cosy atmosphere and is quite a social centre in the town. The food consists of original and exciting salads as well as nut roasts etc to die for. The sweet stuff is good as well, homebaked, and includes sugar free options. I strongly recommend this venue both to visitors and locals.
