Delicious addition to Parc Ave

Great addition to the Mile End - food is fresh, tasty, and wholesome.

Love the cosmic cookies and vegan brownies, as well as the wide array of tasty and original smoothies. Particularly like the guava/coconut combination as well as the classic carrot-ginger-apple fresh juice.

The owner, Valerie, is welcoming and creates a warm and pleasant ambiance to fuel up on healthy treats in. The free internet with purchase is an appreciated feature.

I definitely recommend this new neighbourhood gem - a great small local business addition for the Mile End !

O Jus is amazing!

The smoothies at O Jus are hands-down the best smoothies in Montreal - there are no artificial ingredients, the fruits and other ingredients are always fresh, there's a wide range of unique options for smoothies as well as juices, the service is very friendly, the price is right, and they are made to perfection! The bagels are fresh out the oven from around the corner, I always order it with smoked salmon and cream cheese, it's so good. The soups and baked goods are also exceptional. I always leave O Jus feeling great. I highly recommend it!

Friendly, delicious, and I feel great!

Hey, I just went for a warm-up run, did my 3 sets of pullups and crunchies. My body deserves a healthy yummy reward. I'm heading back to O Jus right after my shower! Love it!

Pros: super friendly, top quality organic food, bright and positive
Cons: chairs are...not my favorite

Charming juice and smoothie bar for all seasons

A brand-new concept has just appeared in the Montreal Mile End scene: that of an intimate internet cafe/ juice and smoothie bar. There are 3 computer screens in the wall next to the take-out counter; in addition, there are 5 more internet stations available in the basement at the partner GABYTECH computer repair store. Printing and fax services are also available on site.

The menu is based upon a wide selection of original smoothies (named after the streets in the neighbourhood)and scrumptious fresh-pressed juices; it also includes teas, tisanes and specialty coffees. Protein whey powder is available for addition to after-workout smoothies (the YMCA is just across the road!) as well as in 1-kilo containers at highly competitive prices. Throughout the fall and winter there is a delicious hearty home-made vegetarian soup along with bagel sandwiches. Fillings include sun-dried tomato cream cheese, vegan curried tofu as well as standard cream cheese and lox. Healthy home baking (muffins, squares, etc. all from organic flour) is also featured, along with a variety of energy bars for all tastes and budgets.

While mainly aimed at offering healthy selections for take-out clientèle, Ô JUS also offers stools to perch on and eat at the front window-side counter looking out on Parc Ave. There is also an intimate terrace out front with tables and a 6-seating capacity. From the bright yellow and tangerine walls to the rotating art displays on the walls by local artists, the entire ambiance is one of cheerful, positive energy. Customers appreciate the friendly service and relaxed atmosphere which facilitates the making of conversation and contacts. More than simply a store, it is a neighbourhood meeting place where people enjoy exchanging and learning. In addition, personalized workshops such as the recent highly-appreciated evening on "Detox through juices and smoothies" are offered to small groups.
