Great if its the kind of food you like!

I'm not a picky eater, but I don't like weird things in my sushi (Ex. broccoli). As a vegan, I really only was interested in the inari since all the other rolls I've tried there ended up tasting just way too weird for me. The inari is NOT normal- they put carrots and such in it... Not a fan. At all.
For a veg/an who likes strange food, this place would be perfect.
Also, its a perfect date scene.
Personally, I love Pink Godzilla for vegan sushi!

Pros: Organic, Friendly staff, Large menu
Cons: Strange veg/an food

Great veg sushi!

I was really sad that I wouldn't get to eat decent Japanese food after going veg, but Mobo changed that. They have a huge menu with a lot of great, creative vegan rolls and appetizers. The vegan rolls are much cheaper than all of the others AND they are not boring! Great flavor combinations, and the vegan tazuna (chef's choice) is always interesting and yummy. I also love their broccoli and spinach oshitashi. Added bonus- last time I was there the owner lined up about 50 sake bombs on the bar and gave one to everyone in the restaurant over 21.

Pros: affordable, healthy choices, friendly owner
Cons: quality of service varies, cocktails aren't great

This is a great place if you're veg/an but love that nori roll system. With an insane amount of veg/an combinations for your roll, you can literally choose from dozens of make your own veg/an traditional and inside out sushi. High quality ingredients, some organic, a good half dozen "off the menu" vegan rolls, plus inari(steamed tofu pocket stuffed with sticky rice), some really good soup and salad options, and a nice selection of drinks, including organic beers and sake, make this a great stopover for a mixed family or group of veg/ans and carne eaters, or as a place to order ahead and pick up some food.
Pricing is in the moderately high level, but portions are filling. Two people can eat and drink until their heart (and belly) is content for around $40. Nice ambience, kind of lively but not hectic.
Sad aquariums all over the place, plus a live sushi bar where the chef is cutting raw dead flesh make it a bit much for the veg/an sensitives. Plus, of course, about 80 to 90 percent of the folks sitting around you will be consuming flesh.
All in all though, if you are a veg/an sushi fan who can't always be bothered to make your own, or you need a place to go that will bridge the gap for meat eaters and veg/ans, a great bet. Staff is also very veg friendly and sensitive to vegan needs.
This is the place, on a great date gone awry, I discovered that raw doesn't always mean vegetarian. And I almost kissed that girl - ew....

Pros: great vegan sushi roll selection, high quality, soup, salads, inari, sake
Cons: lots of raw fish sushi, aquariums in restaurant, little pricey
