Review: Whole Earth now rewards those who can afford to buy a new "clean" car with a PREFERRED parking space, close to the store. The rest of the customers can walk further! I am appalled, but then, this is America: the land where money talks.

Review: One of the few health food stores left in the area that is not a chain. The Deli and bakery make food from scratch - the way it should be made. All the food has ingredient lists to make eating on special diets easier - you know exactly what you are eating. The chefs at Whole Earth Center are very creative and make fabulous food creations. Be sure to try a cup of soup that is made daily. You can also get super healthy sandwichwes loaded with fresh veggies. Grilled sandwiches are also available. Top everything off with a large selection of tasty vegan and non-vegan cookies and cakes.
Whole Earth will also be opening a brand new deli sometime this year in the space that was once a flower shop connected to Whole Earth Center - even more reason to check it out!
Pros: fresh food * great menu *

Review: I love the Whole Earth Center for it's wonderful baked goods and deli, and for the hard-to-find products that they carry. However, my experience has been that customer service overall is very poor. I've called to follow up on special orders, and have been left on hold for 30 minutes, I've requested customer assistance in the store to help me locate a product or make a special order, and most times have felt like I'm "bothering" the staff. Not very many smiles around that place, but they do have some good stuff there...which is the ONLY reason I go back. If there was another store in the neighborhood that carried what I liked at Whole Earth, I wouldn't shop at Whole Earth Center at all. If you don't mind unhappy people and poor customer service, then you'll be happy shopping there.
Pros: excellent deli * amazing bakery * local business
Cons: poor service * unfriendly staff * overpriced products |
