Just ask around for what the have. They dont have a menu so if you dont know but food is good

Delicious, fresh food for only a few JD. The humous and falafel are wonderful (particularly the onion stuffed ones!) and the sides of tomatoes and onions are yummy. Great atmosphere. We ate here on our first night in Amman and returned for every meal! Couldn't recommend this place more.

Love this place! Hashem is a bit of an institution and everyone in Amman seems to know it.

Hashem occupies an alleyway in downtown Amman, which at first is slightly confusing, until you realise that all the places in the alleyway are part of the restaurant.

It is an informal place, with mostly outdoor seating and some indoor seating on plastic tables and chairs. At mealtimes, it is bustling with Jordanian families, couples and groups of friends, and waiters whizzing around to serve as quickly as possible.

There is no written menu. The food is:
- Falafel: The small ones are bitesize, we got served a few larger ones with onions inside which were delicious
- Hummous: So smooth, so tasty!
- Foul: Beans ground into a lovely paste, drizzled with olive oil and mild peppers
- Bread
- Salad plate
- Mint tea: Best mint tea around. If you're not fond of sugar ask for no sugar as it is very sweet!

Everything I had here was perfect! The fuul and regular falafels were great, but my favorites were definitely the silky smooth humus and the bigger falafels which were stuffed with grilled onions. Fantastic!

Price is excellent at about 1 JD per bowl of fuul/hummus. Two of us stuffed ourselves for 3 JD total.
