great supply of hard to get stuff like toiletries, herbs and vitamins. Homemade tasty treats. Fresh miso, tofu, nut butters, kombucha. frozen vegan 'meat'. Great staff

A must-see in San Pedro la Laguna!

Salud Para Vida was one of the highlights of my trip to San Pedro! The staff is helpful and very friendly, always ready to chat with passersby. The store is well-stocked in dried fruits, nuts, organic toiletry products, and natural cure-alls. And don't forget to try the DELICIOUS peanut butter chocolate bars! Heavenly!

Favorite stop in San Pedro

A friend and I spent a week in San Pedro and stopped by Salud on a recommendation from a friend. Salud is like your corner independent Whole Foods, but local and with with a snazzier personality.
Here you can buy bulk foods like nuts and crystallized ginger for an upset stomach, natural shampoo, locally made chocolate and even a Guatemalan remedy for stomach parasites. One of the gems of this store is their peanut butter chocolate bars. They are enormous and kept us coming back again and again. Not to be missed!
Salud is a great place to spend part of an afternoon with the staff, too. Very personable and lots of fun.

They had some really cool stuff, I had been traveling 2 months and was out of all my natural shampoo, toothpaste,vitamins....and they had great brands, and awesome products from Guatemala too! Plus food items I just couldn't pack. I would def reccomend checking it out!
