Best vegan pizza in Columbus!

I love Z Pizza and have been to other locations, including one in the DC area. The Daiya vegan cheese is always delicious but they charge extra for it. They also have an excellent variety of veggie options such as shiitake mushrooms, artichoke hearts, avocado and veg burger crumbles. One of my favorites is a modified Thai pizza with the peanut sauce, shiitake mushrooms, cilantro, carrots and the vegan cheese.

Pros: Vegan cheese!, Many vegetable options, Nice atmosphere
Cons: Serves meat, Charges extra for vegan cheese

Great vegan pizza options

This place has vegan cheese and several ways to create a great vegan pizza. The staff is pretty knowledgeable, as well, so that helps.

The biggest portion of their business is obviously selling meat, but the vegan options are delicious.

Worth it!

Zpizza has Daiya vegan cheese and vegan ground beef-type crumbles. This place is a little more expensive than your typical chain but it is worth it to really get a filling vegan pizza. The "cheese" melts and tastes delicious, and there is a huge selection of veggie toppings (many organic) and white, wheat, and gluten-free crusts.

We love the vegan Berkeley

Everything about this pizza ( the vegan Berkeley) is amazing! The crust, the sauce, the toppings. Even meat eaters would love the vegan crumbles they use. Service was fast on a Friday night walk-in. The only downside is the prices. It's more expensive than competitors.

Berkeley Vegan!

I recommend most vegans get the Berkeley Vegan pizza - it comes with veggie burger crumbles and now Daiya cheese. They lay the cheese on thick so if you're a vegan who shies away from that sort of thing, just go cheeseless as we used to (back in "the day"). The crust can be whole wheat, and after a night in the fridge it's delicious and still holds up so you can shovel it right into your mouth.

Really cool that zpizza is a chain and uses Daiya, as well as caring about sustainability and catering to vegans. Check their website/store for specials - one night we got two large b. vegans for $19.50 - a damn good deal!

You can make your own pizza with alot of choices like pesto sauce, soy cheese and wheat dough. Great place!

Great vegan pizza, but they serve meat

This place is really nice and reasonably priced. They use Dayia vegan "cheese," so their vegan pizza is really very good. You can also get their calzones made vegan, so that's a rare treat. The only issue is they serve meat, so you'll be sitting next to some buffoon who is eating that next to you.
