I talked to the owners of The Earth Cafe in Marrakech and they confirmed that The Earth Cafe in Essaouira is closed.
However, there is another vegetarian restaurant on the same address also very good :o)

As we walked, or perhaps more accurately wandered, into a small square we were greeted by the pleasant sight of Earth Cafe. Having already eaten at their other version in Mrrakech, we immediately knew where we were going to be having dinner and when. It is quite similar to the one if Marrakesch so those review will help to give you a picture, if not cosier. The menu is the same, save for a noddlbe option, and just as delicious. There was only one woman there who was doing everything - cooking, drinks, taking orders etc. Naturally, we had to wait a while for others food to be cooked before ours, but this allows for a more enjoyable sessioon of some morrocan tea! Not to mention she was incredibly kind and hospitable despite us only being able to exchange smiles, gestures, and the odd "Shukran". Highly recommended.
