Review: Marko's is right next door to Crazy Burger, so there are two great restaurants for vegans on the same block of Boon Street! Everything I've tried at Marko's has been delicious, but my personal favorite is the foule! It's a very satisfying bowl of warm fava beans and chickpeas covered with olive oil, tahini, garlic, spices, and tabbouleh. It hits the spot every time. The falafel is great, too -- and both baklava options (vegan!) are amazing. Marko's is a wonderful little gem serving delicious Syrian food!
Pros: Foule! * delicious food * nice staff
Cons: * * |
