	Review: I have eaten at many raw food restaurants all over the country and never have I seen such a pairing of great prices, huge portions, and excellent flavor. None of the hype or trendy attitude here, just amazing raw food for the people. I love everything on the menu. My favorites are manicotti and lasagna. Desserts are off the hook! 	Review: I've eaten in as well as ordered take out many times from here Aug-Sept 09 and am pleased to review it on HappyCow.Net. This all raw cafe had just opened recently (summer 09), and the inside shelves were still bare when I first tried it. It's been a couple months, though, and they are still waiting for their credit card set up... The glass deli case is always filled with a wonderful and colorful display of cold salads and assorted raw desserts. Behind/above the counter is the complete menu which offers a wide range of foods (many salads and wraps). For the savory foods, my husband and I have shared the deli salads combos which usually are kale salad, "couscous" salad, apple beet salad, corn, and/or broccoli salad. We like them all. We've also tried the "tuna" salad, and that was delicious. The manicotti rolls we got were gorgeously presented and tasted divine. We've also had the fiesta platter and the tacos, both very good. Main dishes come with a side of soup, and we've had the creamy celery soup, spicy chili, and gazapacho - all very tasty. The crackers they serve are well-spiced & seasoned and highly snackable. For the sweets, we've had the pumpkin pie/cake, the goji-chocolate pie/cake, the berry pie/cake, and the vanilla chocolate. The green juice and the mango smoothie are both very fresh and good. Almost everything we've eaten at Better Life Cuisine have been delicious. I am totally impressed. This is my new go-to place for raw food in Santa Monica and on the Westside of LA. The only less than impressive dish we had was the spirulina salad - it was tasty but too simple and not exciting. And once the pumpkin pie tasted more like tumeric spice (used to make the pumpkin color - cuz they actually use carrot to make the pie, not pumpkin). This place is very casual and easy going with good service. The prices are reasonable and the portions are fair-generous. I highly recommend Better Life Cuisine. Even if you are not big into raw food, go try it.   Pros: * * Cons: * *

	Review: found out about this place from happycow friends and tried it last night. took two non veg people there and we all enjoyed it very much. the dishes were tasty and very creative. they had never been to anything like it before. I had the salmon wrap (alot for one sitting) and also tasted their salad and lasagna. only thing I would suggest is to ask for the salad dressing on the side as it gets to be too saucey...Very good meal.   Pros: flavorful food * fresh * good prices Cons: street parking * *

	Review: I ate at Better Life the other day, and really enjoyed my experience. I ordered the Fiesta Platter and the spirulina cake. The Fiesta Platter was very wholesome and delicious, and the spirulina was creamy, rich, and out of this world! Unlike the raw food down the street, this place has a relaxed, clean, comfortable setting, and the prices are much more reasonable. 	Review: Tired of all the Raw, Vegan hype. Well this eatery is just clean, fresh good-tasting food. Gil and Janet graciously host this fantastic eatery. Start with a fresh juice or smoothy, toss a choice of eight salads, roll six wraps and five wonderful entrees from traditional to mexican and italian flavors and finish with a smooth specialty pie or many other wonderful sweet treets.
