After searching around for a place for Sunday lunch where we could take our grannddaughter who is veggie we found the Beetroot Tree and wonders there was something for everone. In peaceful and pleasant surroundings and such friendly staff it is all ways a pleasure to go there.
Pros: Choice, pleasant, friendlyA cute vegetarian cafe. Not a huge menu, but well thought-out and half vegan options. Gluten-free also available. Lovely location in an arts and crafts centre. Nice homely atmosphere and garden area. We had two soups: watercress and orange, and carrot and cashew, and salads. Everything was very tasty, and healthy home-style. Also home-cooked vegan cake available. Lovely, friendly workers.
Pros: Creative and tasty, Plenty of vegan optionsThe cafe is in an art gallery and shop (with a healthy supply or art materials!). It's not a huge cafe, but the food served is excellent and the staff are friendly.
