Review: We went to this restaurant for breakfast and had the Kitchen meusli with soymilk but it wasn't great, maybe the soymilk was a bit off. The fruit wasn't the freshest either. Decided to have oatmeal at our hotel the following day and it was cheaper, the fruit was fresher and the soymilk tasted a lot better.

Review: Sanitarium Kitchen is located next to the Pig 'N' Whistle pub (in the "145 Eagle Street" building, between Emirates House and the Riverside Centre skyscrapers), on the river side of Eagle Street opposite where Eagle Street joins Eagle Lane.
I had the delicious 'kitchen muesli' with soy milk and a nice dandelion tea with soy milk for breakfast here this morning (about $11). Examples from the extensive menu: sandwiches: falafel tortilla wrap, salads: braised beetroot, sides: Italian style pizza bread, mains: pumpkin penne, Spanish bean quesadilla, fresh juices/smoothies: ginger kick, lychee lassi.
It's cheaper to take-away (probably good at busy times), but the decor is so nice that I recommend dining indoors (flip through the books in the bookcases) or in the garden courtyard out front.
It's nice to see an upmarket vegetarian restaurant (but typically Brisbane-casual) in the city centre, with friendly staff and delicious healthy cuisine.
