Review: You'd never know that the best vegan food within 100 miles is located in a nondescript little building on a corner in one of the not so great parts of this town in extreme Western Massachusetts. Everything here is absolutely 100% vegan. Their selection changes with the seasons, but I have not had a bad dish here yet. They even have raw items, including incredibly scrumptious pies. The only drawbacks are the facts that there isn't anyplace to sit down and eat, and that Devon is married. The chefs are all very friendly, and are always in a good mood. Good food (or good acting classes) will do that for you, I guess. They will be delivering to the local area soon, too. I wish they would open a restaurant in town as well. Don't forget to bring your clean plastic containers to help reduce your carbon footprint even further.
Pros: Great tasting quality food. * Knowledgeable, friendly staff. * Desserts are addictive
Cons: Too small to sit down and eat. * Desserts are addictive. * |

Review: My husband and I went here while visiting the area for a Tanglewood concert in Lenox, MA. Too bad we are from CT because I would definitely visit again! We had a tofu egg salad sandwich, which was so big we split it. It was came complete with mustard, lettuce, and tomato, and the sourdough bread that it was on held up great in our travels. We then got a container filled with small scoops of different offerings: tempeh tuna salad, a pate, coleslaw, squash, mac n cheeze, and two pieces of the sushi roll with a mini container of soy sauce. It was so great to try a variety of items, and just like a true deli! If I had known, I would have brought my own to-go container... better for the environment and probably saves them some money. If we are back up that way again, I will try out a dessert next time! =)
Pros: Healthy * Great Service * Great Value
Cons: No area to sit down * * |

Review: A beacon of great vegan food in Western Mass. Was visiting the area for a week and vegan not spoken in most restaurants (barely speak vegetarian), so this place was great to find . . . then I got the food back to the hotel and !!!!! it was amazing vegan food, not just vegan food. They filled my container with (not) egg salad, (not) chicken salad, nori roll, tofu pocket, hummus, pizza, and cake and it ALL was absolutely fab. Was supposed to last me two days-it didn't :-)
Pros: yummmmmy * all vegan * friendly
Cons: * * |
