Review: A nice little dessert cafe, serving up a variety of shaved ice treats. My partner said her cendol (coconut milk with green noodles, beans, and shaved ice) was the best she'd ever had. I had the standard ice kacang (shaved ice with beans, syrup, creamed corn and coconut milk - I couldn't detect condensed milk but it might have had some), which was pretty decent. One thing the kacang definitely had going for it was the fairly liberal use of rosewater syrup - yummy!

Highly refreshing, and pretty cheap at about RM3 per dessert. In addition to the 10 or 15 desserts on the menu, there is also a small selection of vegetarian meals (rice etc) if you're in the mood for a savoury snack.

Pros: Cheap * Cosy * Good location
Cons: Not the most expansive menu * *

Review: This place is definitely an oasis for vegans who can't get ice cream on a hot day. Instead of making do with popsicles, you can get a wonderful bowl of ice covered with fruit purees. We were a little sceptical before trying it out, but it delivered as advertised! Really delicious and made a hot day a whole lot more enjoyable.
