Review: I visited this restaurant twice, and both times I was the only one there. I'm not sure why. Maybe because it's a bit of an uphill walk from town?
The prices are probably the cheapest in town, plus (despite the menus not being completely clear) you don't have to worry about accidentally ordering dishes containing meat.
I tried ordering a small amount of food, but the owner kept bringing me extra things to try and take with me when I told her I was leaving town.
It's a great place to replenish your reserves after a multi-day hike up Mt. Fansipan!
Pros: Friendly service * 100% vegetarian * great value

The two women running the place on my visits are very friendly but speak little English. They serve an array of dishes for 30,000 dong (currently less than US$2), which is amazingly cheap.
For lunch I had tofu, tomato & coriander; steamed broccoli, morning glory (local hollow-stemmed spinach); deep-fried spring rolls; green papaya, carrot, sprout & peanut salad; rice; and green tea.
Lunch was mostly cold food but for dinner (which was much the same except for a delicious white mushroom dish) most of the food was hot. They also kindly put a fan heater right behind my seat (it is near freezing here in January now).
They gave me complimentary peanut brittle too. I thoroughly recommend that you eat here! (I will send photos later)
