Review: Got to the place at about 21:50 were told that it's too late for eating in (this is London on Thursday eve???) The place isn't called CHI anymore, but looks like it belongs to the chain of THAI vegan restaurants that have sprung up around Soho, which the BBC covered and found utterly disgusting as far as hygiene is concerned, so beware!. We were told that if we wanted to we could have take out. We looked at the food and they had pasta salads and olives.....since when is that chinese? We left, total waste of time!
Pros: Central Location * *
Cons: Hygiene * Unfriendly Staff * Food |

Review: 6.50 pounds for all you can eat "Thai" food. Everything was vegan but it was all just TVP in Thai sauces. The only vegetables I saw were just stir fried zucchini and chinese mushroom and the zucchini was undercooked. It's good and cheap (for London) if you are hungry and it's convenient to the West End but I don't think I'd go back.

Review: We used to come here about once a month when we lived in London as it's in such a good location and very cheap. We stopped in again during our visit last week and it was just like old times. The servers here are very friendly and never seem to forget a face!
The buffet is not large by any means, but there is usually a choice of 2 or 3 different coconut curries with mock meat, a tofu dish, another mock meat dish, 2 or 3 vegetable dishes, some fresh salads, fried rice, lightly steamed broccoli, spring rolls, prawn crackers, and fried noodles. It's not health food, but it's tasty and cheap.
My husband's favorite dish is the green curry, while I prefer the beef with peppers and black bean sauce. We both love the noodles and the smiling waitresses.
Pros: good value * friendly staff * convenient location
Cons: not a large variety * not the healthiest food * |
