Review: This is an organic health food shop with a cafe on the mezzanine floor.
I was pleased to see three vegan options on the brunch menu and a couple of vegan baked goods (brownie and muffins) on the counter, but the food was disappointing. I had the scrambled tofu and it was bland, the toast was dry (no spread provided) and it wasn't hot enough. My husband had the vegan version of their vege breakfast (minus the eggs, though the first time they brought it out with eggs and tried to tell him this was the vegan option! They later apologised and gave him extra toast and an extra sausage). He agreed that the toast was dry and that the meal itself was not that great. Coffee good though! Didn't try the vegan brownie or the vegan muffin in the end.
The shop has your standard organic fare - similar to what you would find at the Commonsense Organics stores in Wellington. Would probably go to cafe again and try the muffin or brownie next time. I can get much better scrambled tofu at Pranah or Midnight Espresso.
