Great Local Food

This place has it all. With several types of tortillas (my favorite is the tomato one), plenty of topping options for vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores, a great atmosphere, fast service, and reasonable prices. They have an amazing homemade corn salsa that's very spicy. Their rice is top-notch and they have a great mix of hot vegetables that can be added for no extra cost. A burrito here is enough to feed even the hungriest of people, so you may want to save some for later. Truly both quality and quantity here.

Pros: Quality, Vegan to Omnivore, Quantity
Cons: When too busy not perfectly clean, Long lines

Tasty, pricey burrito

The Fighting Burrito has a lot of options for vegetarian and vegan burritos. You won't find any vegan cheeses or sour creams here, but the guacamole is vegan, as are the tortillas, grilled veggies and many other veggie fillings and salsas. I am not sure if the soyrizo is vegan or just vegetarian. If you don't get meat in your burrito you can get extra grilled veggies or guac for free.

Huge burritos! very friendly staff, soyrizo as a protein option. very yummy, probably one of the best place's in ames to eat.

Pros: large portions, inexpensive, veggie friendly
Cons: small seating area
