Review: They have a great selection of vegan and vegetarian foods. It's inconvenient that it is take-away only, yet, if you ask for your container with no lid you will get twice as much food so it's worth the hassle. There is a park nearby to sit in to eat. It's a good deal for the price which was around 5 pounds. I would actually give the food quality 5 stars. The split pea dal with rice and greens is delicious. There is a great variety to choose from for both vegans and vegetarians; however, the vegan food is not marked. I'm allergic to egg and dairy so I hate to have to ask about every item. They do have yummy vegan and gluten-free desserts which are marked. Overall a great little vegetarian eatery on Portobello Road.
Pros: Delicious food * Inexpensive (by London standards anyway) * Generous portions if you get no lid
Cons: Take-away only * Vegan items not marked as "vegan" * |

Review: Near where Portobello Market is held on the weekend.
Small space consisting of counter and space to stand in front of it. It is a takeaway.
Selection of items which you can choose from to fill a container. Items range from stir fry to sheperd's pie type bakes. There is also a cake section with various slices, biscuits.
A container can be got for around five pounds.
For me this is a three and a half.
Pros: Healthier to some alternative takeaways * *
Cons: there is better cuisine in the world * * |
