Lovely little shop!

I love this shop! The husband and wife run store offers a very nice selection of health foods, vitamins and supplements - with many gluten-free, vegan options available. If they don't have it, please ask. They are kind and accommodating, when possible. I love the tofu sausages they stock and often visit to get my stash for the weekend - as they are quite delicious cooked straight over an open bonfire! If you're in the area, do check it out.

Pros: family run, nice selection of goods, friendly service
Cons: small, not open Sundays, limited stock

My favourite shop in St Andrews

I love this shop! I have been a regular customer for 4 years. The owners always have a friendly word and are very helpful. As well as vegetarian and vegan staples (soya products inc. yogurt, milk, cream, "cheese", tofu, chocolate etc.) they have spices, energy bars, eco-friendly cleaning products. I am vegan and my wife is gluten-intolerant, they have lots of gluten free products too. It is all reasonably priced - a bit more expensive than big chains, but they are a small independent shop. I have always been able to comfortably afford their items on a student budget.

Pros: Friendly staff, Interesting products, Good range
Cons: Popular items sometimes briefly sold out

St Andrews Health Foods Store

St Andrews Health Foods is a small-medium independent health food store. The location is great, right in the town centre. They sell a good range of vegetarian and vegan items for a shop in a small town. Food items and toiletries available. Attractive store, inside and out.

Pros: decent selection, location, pretty interior and exterior

A nice little health foods shop in the beautiful town of St Andrews. Good range of meat free foods, vitamins, health supplements and toiletries. There's a Holland and Barrett over the road where some items are cheaper, so all in all a good match for health foods in St A's!
