Review: Teeniest food place amongst others half way up street.
About 5 people can fit sitting inside and about another 4 of 5 outside. The shop next door has closed down now so they have spaced out their second outdoor table in front of it.

Hot foods available: rice, dhal, chick pea curry and a sort of veggie sausage casserole that has Mediterranean type vegetables in it. The hot food was kind of like a sort of home cooked food, pretty average as opposed to super special, but it was still pretty tasty. There are also dolmas and falafel. The falafel is mostly the soft type. It comes with varying accompaniements such as cheese stuffed baby peppers, roasted vegetables, olives, tabouli, hommous, yoghurt sauce which they can wrap it with or put in a salad container for you.
There is a basket with individual pieces of fruit which you can get.
There is also a variety of breads and cookies they make at their bakery and baklava. The baklava had big pieces of pistachio in it instead of finely ground nuts. It had a medium amount of syrup – have tasted baklava with more syrup and less. They don't have a bread slicer on this premises at the moment, but the person serving cut a loaf up with a bread knife for me.
There are juices that are mixed from some ingredients that are frozen. You can get coffee too.

Service is friendly.

Value is fine with a takeaway lunch at around six pounds.

They have a few natural/ alternative health toiletries/ supplements for sale on a ledge and leaflets for local courses hanging on the wall.

Pros: organic * veggie place in Blackheath village * poss eat lunch on heath
Cons: * *
