Review: For years, I've been a devotee of D'Lish Cafe in Sedona, Arizona. This spring (April 2008) the same owners opened a similar restaurant in Cottonwood--a much less veg friendly town. The Green Carrot is great! They have only vegan food, much of it raw and organic, and the prices are a tad bit lower than in Sedona--very reasonable for this quality of food. They also have a quite broad menu--breakfast burrito, tofu scramble, sandwiches, wraps, soups, and really good salads. Also, the service was super fast--unlike D'lish!

Some of my favorites: their raw almond pate is fantastic. They have outstanding salad dressings too--I wish I could buy their tahini poppyseed by the bottle! Fresh and raw juices and smoothies are very good and not too expensive; same goes for their fresh coconut water.

The guy who helped us there was extremely friendly and willing to offer tastes and suggestions. What a nice guy, and what a nice restaurant. I recommend it very highly. Please support them so they'll stay open.

At the moment they are only open for breakfast and lunch. I hope they will extend their hours to dinner too.

Pros: great, healthy food * fast! * amazing salads
Cons: sometimes out of things on the menu * only open breakfast and lunch *
