Review: This is a comfortable and modern cafe, with a bit of a western feel. Lunch here wasn't too expensive, but the portion sizes + price meant that I would definitely describe it as a bit of a novelty health restaurant, rather than a straight up regular place to fill your tum.

The menu was interesting, with some "garden meat" - meat substitute salads, and some Japanese style dishes too.

The nice thing about this place was the choice - unlike a lot of Japanese Veg places, where a set menu/tray of varied goods are served up, it was more like ordering a specific meal as you would in any other restaurant.

The atmosphere was lovely, and it was winter, so they had cute blankets available to put on your lap for comfort. The majority of the clientele seemed to be 20-80 years women, but there were a couple of families and couples too.

They also sell their garden meat in a little store section of the cafe, though I didn't try any - it was quite expensive, even though meat substitutes like that are really hard to come by in Japan!

All in all I would visit here again, but not if I was looking for a filling meal for a low price.
The Yuzu tea was fantastic.

Pros: Nice atmosphere * Good range of food * More like a normal restaurant
Cons: Mid-small portion sizes * Slightly expensive for some dishes * Menue not entirely clear about veg items

Review: The menu had some fish and "uncured ham"--with no disclaimer that it's fake meat--but most items were clearly vegetarian (with gluten as a common main ingredient). They had a mixture of foods, including Japanese (like the vegetarian version of their curry), Korean and some non-Asian. They had several vegetarian soups, including soy milk corn chowder. Prices and portion sizes were moderate for Japanese standards.

Pros: good quality * good location *
Cons: appears to be not 100% veg * *
