The Stone store does have a great selection. I found Umeboshi Plum paste there and that's no easy fete in this area. If you need something, more than likely its there. However, as a student the prices are a little expensive even with the one day per week you get a student discount. Its more like a specialty store rather than a alternative grocery store where you can shop a few times per week.
Pros: Great SelectionGuelph has no Whole Foods mega mart (as of yet) and the Stone Store is a top alternative.
A decent selection of grocery products, supplements, health and beauty, baked goods, bulk, some produce and seem to stock newer "alternative" products as they become available as well.
The staff is always very helpful.
